Bristol-based five-piece Cousin Kula have a unique brand of psychedelic jazz to show off. They’re doing so with their upcoming album, Double Dinners, which is due for release on November 26^th. ‘Something So Sweet’ is taken from that debut record, and really demonstrates their style through moments of guitar magic and sweeping saxophone licks. On the album, they explain: “Most of the tunes on the album are live takes - Doug built his own ribbon mics, dozens of acoustic panels, and engineered the whole thing so that we could record everyone together from separate rooms in the house - all to get a live feel that lends itself so well to these tune.” -Dan Peeke
